- Talladega Superspeedway - Since 1969, Talladega Superspeedway has produced the most competitive and most exciting races in NASCAR. With records for most lead changes (75), most leaders (28), fastest qualifying speed (212.809 mph) and fastest average race speed (188.354 mph), no other track can claim a more thrilling history.
- Lake Point Disc Golf - Lake Point features a permanent course type with 18 holes consisting of 4955 feet to 5955 feet. The landscape of the course features beautiful but moderately hills and wooded areas.
- Historical Landmarks - There are numerous historical landmarks you will find in Heflin. John Morgan House/Colonial Cottage, listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage, this 1.5 story frame dwelling was built for John Morgan circa 1880, is just one of those you will find here.
- Talladega Scenic Drive - Provides a 29-mile "bird's eye view" of Northeast Alabama along State Scenic Highway 281. It eventually connects to U.S. Highway 78. Along the way, the Cheaha State Park, Pinhoti National Recreation Trail, Cheaha Wilderness, Oxford-Cheaha Road, and Turnipseed Hunt Camp can all be accessed directly from the drive.
